Customized Makefiles

Xilinx expertise is no longer needed to build complex systems. Now anyone can build a multiprocessor system with hw accelerators using a few keystrokes, and then grab a cup of coffee!

Mobius now generates customized makefiles supporting hw-only, sw-only, hw/sw codesigns and MPSoC applications.

As a result, building Xilinx-based systems is now absolutely trivial:

• First the user creates Mobius source for his application.
• Next the user creates the customized makefile using "mobius -make mymobius.mbs"
• Finally the user builds the system using "make -f mymobius.make all"

Different make targets are created for each application to drive Xilinx ISE, Xilinx EDK, Xilinx XMD and Xilinx PlanAhead. The user can typically generate HDL, run modelsim simulations, create XMP projects, synthesize netlists, compile programs, build ace files, download bitstream and elf files, ... or "all" to simply build everything.
